Monthly Update from Smart Places:
Platform Upgrade Complete!
We’re thrilled to announce that our new platform has been successfully deployed. The updated Tech Stack V2 is living up to its promises — it’s fast, scalable, and fully mobile-friendly. This deployment marks a significant milestone in our journey, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
Now that the tech stack is finally out, the developers can focus on adding new features to the platform.
New User System
Our new user system is now live! This streamlined system makes it a breeze to create an account and add a wallet. This means you can use the backend on mobile even without having a mobile wallet. You can use this user to log into the mobile application, ensuring consistency across platforms. We’re still working on minor bug fixes. We appreciate your patience and community feedback as we iron out these final details.
Payment Gateway Expansion
We’re excited to inform you that we’ve integrated Web2 payment options into our payment gateway. This means more convenience and options for you, as we now support transactions via PayPal, VISA, GooglePay, ApplePay, and more.
Our goal is to provide seamless transactions for every member of our community. Businesses can now take part in the Smart Places ecosystem — with their current payment system.
Affiliate Payments Update
Good news for our Pioneers! We’ve completed the affiliate payments for July & August. We issued a total of 25 payments, summing up to 2145 ADA. For those interested in reaping the benefits of our Affiliate Program, and becoming a Smart Places affiliate, you can find more details and register below.
Community calls are back from summer vacations!
Our next community call for Pioneers is scheduled for 14th of September, at 3PM CET/1PM UTC and will take place in our Discord.
